Features
The CS1 provides interfaces for standardized open networks and connections for cost-effective and very fast proprietary networks. Data links between PLCs or to higher-level computer systems are possible via serial or Ethernet links, or via the very easy-to-use Controller Link network. Omron supports the two main fieldbuses, DeviceNet and PROFIBUS-DP. For high-speed field I/O, Omron's CompoBus/S offers unmatched installation ease. Fully customizable CAN and serial communications allow emulation of various application-specific protocols.
