Performance and practicality of machine control

The NX I/O system offers a wide choice of I/O peripherals. Its ultra-fast internal bus system is synchronized with the EtherCAT network's distributed clock. Thus, the use of system-wide deterministic I/Os allows machine designers to improve machine production rates and output quality. An Ethernet/IP bus coupler is available for non-synchronous use, for example with CJ series PLCs.

NX series I/O covers a full range of units, including high-speed and standard digital I/Os, different performance levels in analog I/Os, encoder inputs, and pulse outputs. The series is continuously growing, for example with time-stamp I/Os, safety I/Os, alternative bus systems, and application-specific modules.
